Follow up on staff appraisals through continuous dialogue

SUPPORT FOR MANAGERS

Remuneration in the salary review is based on the performance and results of the employee during the financial year. It is therefore important that employees know from the outset what they are expected to perform and achieve, and what they can do to influence their salary.

Both managers and employees are responsible for carrying out the activities described in the appraisal plan and for evaluating the appraisal.

In order for you as a manager to be able to make an overall assessment and make proposals for new salary, it is important that you have a continuous dialogue with your employees and follow up on the results of the staff appraisals.

Specific follow-up discussion before the salary review

Before the salary review, you should offer your employees a specific follow-up meeting to discuss their performance and results for the year.
